Following our earlier overview of major 2026 K-pop schedules (ITZY Yuna solo, CORTIS GREENGREEN, LE SSERAFIM April, TXT 7TH YEAR, etc.), here are the latest March–April announcements lighting up the scene.
Moonbyul (MAMAMOO) – Third Single “Rev” on March 25
RBW Entertainment confirmed on March 5 that Moonbyul will release her third solo single “Rev” on March 25, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST. The track arrives roughly four months after her last solo digital single “S.O.S” (late 2025), which she promoted alongside her first Asia solo concert tour Museum: Village of Eternal Glow. That tour launched in Seoul in November 2025 and visited five cities—Singapore, Macao, Kaohsiung, Tokyo, and Taipei—before concluding in Hong Kong in February 2026.
Moonbyul has steadily carved out a solo identity blending hip-hop, R&B, and emotional ballads since her 2018 debut single “Selfish.” “Rev” is expected to continue that signature mix of introspective lyrics and strong production. MAMAMOO as a full group is also gearing up for a major milestone: a new full-length album in June 2026 to celebrate their 12th anniversary, followed by an international tour spanning 26 cities worldwide. The album-tour combo will mark their most ambitious global project yet.

T.O.P – Long-Awaited Solo Album Under Topspot Pictures
Industry sources reported on March 4 that T.O.P is preparing his first solo album since leaving YG Entertainment, to be released independently under his own label Topspot Pictures. Hiin Entertainment CEO Kang Jung-woo (formerly of BH Entertainment) will oversee promotions, though Kang clarified he is personally contracted to Topspot Pictures in a managerial role and that T.O.P is not signed to Hiin. Kakao Entertainment is reportedly handling distribution after T.O.P held talks with multiple global and local partners, including Sony Music Korea.
No official release date has been announced, but T.O.P fueled speculation with a January 1, 2026, teaser video captioned “A new album is on the way,” leading many to expect a first-quarter drop. The comeback arrives as BIGBANG celebrates its 20th anniversary, with G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung confirmed for Coachella performances on April 12 and 19. Multiple sources confirm T.O.P has no intention of rejoining BIGBANG, citing lingering guilt toward the members and a firm refusal to work with YG Entertainment again. His 2016 marijuana conviction while serving as a conscripted police officer and ongoing distance from YG remain key factors.
Kep1er – Eighth Mini Album “CRACK CODE” on March 31
Kep1er announced on March 9 that their eighth mini album CRACK CODE will drop on March 31, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST. First teasers were released alongside the news, though full tracklists and concepts are still pending. The comeback follows a turbulent period: earlier in March, agencies confirmed that member Seo Youngeun, on hiatus since July 2025, would permanently leave the group.
Despite the lineup change, Kep1er has maintained strong momentum since their 2021 debut under WakeOne (Produce 48 project group). Their last release was the 2025 mini Magic Hour, which showed continued chart stability. “CRACK CODE” is expected to blend their signature bright, energetic sound with fresh production.

Red Velvet’s Irene – First Full-Length Solo Album “Biggest Fan” on March 30
Irene announced on March 9 that her debut full-length solo album Biggest Fan will arrive on March 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST. A teaser titled “BIGGEST FAN-TASY™” dropped alongside the news, hinting at a dreamy, fan-centric concept. This marks Irene’s first solo album after years of subunit and feature work (e.g., her 2022 digital single “Don’t Go” with Taeyang). Red Velvet fans have long awaited a full solo project from the group’s visual and center, and early reactions suggest high anticipation for her soft, elegant vocal style paired with sophisticated production.
TWS – New Album in April
Pledis Entertainment confirmed on March 6 that boy group TWS is preparing a new album for April 2026. No title, exact date, or concept details were shared yet. Their last release was the fourth EP Play Hard in October 2025, which sold nearly 640,000 copies in its first week (a career high) and debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking, earning RIAA gold certification in Japan the following month. TWS has rapidly risen as one of 2025’s breakout acts, and this April release is expected to build on their momentum with more youthful, high-energy tracks.

It’s On!
March through May 2026 is shaping up to be one of the busiest periods in recent K-pop history. From Moonbyul and Irene’s solo milestones to Kep1er’s lineup transition, T.O.P’s independent return, and TWS’s continued rise, the landscape feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. These releases arrive amid a wave of group tours and anniversary projects (MAMAMOO’s 12th, BIGBANG’s 20th), showing that K-pop’s biggest names are doubling down on both personal artistry and collective legacy.
