Ánh Sáng • Màn Đêm is his first full studio album, and it feels exactly like the title promises: a conversation between brightness and shadow. Side A (Ánh Sáng) arrived in late March 2026 like soft morning light—warm, romantic, a little dreamy. Side A opens with “hóa ra…”—the gentle realization that someone has walked into your life and suddenly the air feels different. From there Grey D moves through the early rush of love: “yêu em như…,” the floating “mộng tình,” the collaborative “đôi mắt kẻ tình si” with MIN, the lingering “mới hôm qua,” the soft intimacy of “tựa đầu,” and the transitional “hơi thở của gió.” These songs feel like the version of love we all want to believe in—bright, slightly cinematic, full of possibility.
Then Side B arrives and the temperature drops. “họa nhạc dưới ánh trăng,” “tối nay 2h,” the title track “ánh sáng • màn đêm,” the already-viral “toidaidot,” “1001 câu trả lời,” and the closing “đường về” sit with the parts of love that don’t resolve cleanly. Longing, distance, the realization that two people can be light and night to each other and still never fully meet in the middle. Grey D doesn’t force a happy ending.
