Hyundai Motor Securities has raised its target stock price for HYBE to 380,000 won, citing as a key driver the firm’s projection that BTS will launch a world tour in 2026 spanning eight months, 65 performances, and approximately four million attendees. The brokerage, which maintained its Buy rating on HYBE, also pointed to the company’s success in localizing Western artists as a major contributor to future earnings growth.

Who Is Hyundai Motor Securities?

Hyundai Motor Securities is one of South Korea’s leading financial services companies, offering investment banking, asset management, and securities research. Its equity analysts regularly publish reports assessing the outlook of publicly listed firms like HYBE. These reports combine financial modeling, industry data, and company disclosures to help guide institutional and retail investors.

While such research notes often sound definitive, they are not official statements from HYBE. Instead, they represent informed forecasts — blending public announcements, historical precedent, and market intelligence into future-looking projections.

BTS was the first Asian Native act to sell out Wembley Stadium. They sold out two dates.

The BTS Factor: Film Screenings and Tour Forecast

Researcher Kim Hyun-yong emphasized that BTS will sustain global momentum through a series of short-term projects. From October 24 to November 5, the group will hold a two-week event screening four concert films in 2,500 theaters across 65 countries. These screenings, along with additional pop-up stores, are expected to maintain fan engagement until a tour announcement at the end of 2025.

Looking further ahead, Hyundai Motor Securities predicts BTS’s 2026 world tour will generate significant revenue. The tour is modeled to run from May through December, with an average of 60,000 attendees per stadium show and a total audience of four million. Based on these assumptions, the brokerage forecasts HYBE’s operating profit to reach the 100 billion won range beginning in the second quarter of 2026.

Localization and New Artists

The report also highlighted the rising performance of HYBE’s Western artists. Cats Eye, a rookie group, entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 45 just a year after debut and is preparing for its first North American tour in November. The initial run is expected to draw 70,000–80,000 attendees across 16 shows. A second tour in late 2026 could expand to 25 shows and 350,000 attendees, rivaling benchmarks set by Stray Kids in North America.

Meanwhile, HYBE’s South American project teams are scheduled to debut later this year, reinforcing the company’s strategy of tailoring groups for regional markets, particularly Latin America and the U.S.

How the Predictions Are Made

Hyundai Motor Securities’ estimates are based on a blend of:

  • Confirmed events, such as the concert film screenings and Cats Eye’s first tour.
  • Historical precedent, including BTS’s past stadium tours and ticket demand.
  • Industry intelligence, drawing from concert promoters and venue capacity data.
  • Financial modeling, projecting revenue and profit based on average ticket prices, merchandise sales, and operating costs.

By applying a price-to-earnings ratio (PER) of 41 times expected 2026 earnings per share (EPS), the brokerage set a target stock price of 380,000 won, presenting HYBE as its top K-content stock pick.

Sheer Anticipation is Good For HYBE

Hyundai Motor Securities’ bullish outlook reflects investor optimism around both BTS’s eventual return to touring and HYBE’s expansion into global markets. While the specifics of a 2026 BTS world tour remain unconfirmed by the company, the projection underscores the scale of expectations built into HYBE’s valuation. For investors, the key takeaway is that both the group’s comeback and HYBE’s international artist strategy are central to the firm’s long-term growth narrative.
