Last week, BTS moved across every layer of the global music system at the same time.

Let’s start with the creators behind the music.

  • RM has re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 Songwriters chart at No. 5.
  • SUGA follows at No. 21.
  • And for the first time, longtime producer Pdogg makes his debut at No. 12.

This chart reflects sustained Hot 100 activity tied to ARIRANG and its rollout.

ARIRANG AND “SWIM”

ARIRANG is the first album by a Korean act to hold the #1 position of Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks. They sold 183,000 units. It debuted at No. 1 with over 640,000 units.

On Spotify, the scale becomes even clearer. For two consecutive weeks globally, BTS has topped:

  • Weekly Top Album
  • Weekly Top Song
  • Weekly Top Artist

All 14 tracks from ARIRANG landed inside the Top 50 of the Global Weekly Songs chart—for two weeks straight.

They also held No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Global charts for 14 consecutive days.

On YouTube Music, the momentum continues.

“SWIM” topped both global and U.S. weekly charts, pulling in massive play counts, while multiple B-sides also entered the global rankings.

The music video for “2.0” hit No. 1 on YouTube’s Global Daily chart immediately after release.

Now zoom out to the global picture.

In the UK:

  • ARIRANG lands at No. 4 on the Official Albums Chart
  • “SWIM” enters at No. 5 on the Singles Chart
  • Additional tracks like “Body to Body” and “NORMAL” also chart
  • “SWIM” also holds No. 1 on both Sales and Downloads charts for a second week.

Across Europe and beyond:

  • No. 1 on Australia’s ARIA Albums chart for two weeks
  • No. 2 in Germany
  • No. 2 in France
  • And BTS has now tied a historic record—527 weeks on Spotify’s Global Artist chart, alongside names like Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift.

But wait… there’s more!

BTS just dropped the ultimate comeback glow-up and ARMYS are losing it!

The hidden track ‘Come Over’ — produced by SUGA – was made available ONLY on the deluxe red-and-white vinyl (B&W version, baby), turning the 14-track album into a juicy 15-track collector’s dream.

Suga teased it himself on the April 1 Weverse live — quote, ‘A song that I produced is finally coming out’ — and the lyrics? Pure ARMY therapy: ‘When a night that feels empty comes, I call out to you again… Yeah I’m lost, can I come over?’ It’s giving emotional stadium hug, and fans are straight-up rioting for a streaming release while vinyls fly off shelves faster than you can say ‘limited edition.’

RUN BTS

After three whole years, ‘Run BTS’ is officially back as Run BTS 2.0, premiering April 7 on BANGTANTV. The chaos, the games, the unfiltered seven-member madness we’ve been starving for? It’s returning bigger and better, just in time to ride the wave of this insane comeback.

And next week?

History, ARMY. BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG’ kicks off with THREE explosive nights at Goyang Stadium — April 9, 11, and 12. First shows in Korea since the hiatus, stadiums packed, lightsticks waving, and the boys finally back where they belong. Live cinema viewings are already selling out worldwide because nobody wants to miss the opening night of the decade!
