There is so much hype about Kpop and Pop but other Asian countries exist with their own Pop Music Culture. Here is a brief background on Tpop (Thailand Pop), Cpop (China Pop), Fpop (Filipno Pop) and Ipop (India Pop).
Get to know the Asian pop a little bit more and the unique, intricate, and crazy history and culture of Asian countries that are influencing its pop music.

There’s a big talk about Asians in Hollywood. Wu Assassins is one of the few TV series (produced by Netflix) with a cast dominated by Asian and it is lead by Iko Uwais (The Raid, Mile 22).

True to the hype, the Wu Assassins won’t disappoint when it comes to action sequences. Iko is one of the few legitimate Asian action star who doesn’t just act but actually practices the martial arts. He has been called this generation’s Jacky Chan or Bruce Lee. His legitimacy is undeniable.

Crazy Rich Asians is a lot of things, it’s a good movie, lightly funny, and a big box office hit but the one thing that it is not is a representation of Asians. In all fairness to the movie, it’s a romantic comedy and it did its job to many viewers but I hope that the international audience is smart enough to realize that Asians are impossible to represent in a single movie.
