Min Yoongi and Kim Seokjin, a.k.a. YoonJin, a.k.a. Sin, are BTS’ two eldest hyungs. They are known to be roommates until they moved to a new apartment that gives them a room each.
They seem to be complete opposites. Jin is often willing to try out new things, friendly, and crazy in their activities. Min Yoongi is reserved and introverted. But long time ARMYs know that they are, in fact, perfectly compatible and pretty open about having similar personalities. That’s why they get along so well.
These post is to highlight just how deep their respect, love, support, and admiration is for each other.

Why did Big Hit Entertainment (BTS’ management company) and SM Entertainment (Jaehyun’s management company) apologize in behalf of their artist when all they did was go out to have dinner. South Korea is not in a lockdown and the establishment was open.

Background Of The Issue

BTS’ Jungkook, Astro’s Cha Eunwoo, NCT’s Jaehyun, and Seventeen’s Mingyu went out to eat and have some fun in Itaewon on April 25.

Initially, Big Hit declined to comment because it was their artist’s personal life but eventually, both SM and Big Hit confirmed that their artists went to Itaewon that day and apologized for their artists’ irresponsible act.

Fans are upset because:

1) Technically, Jungkook didn’t do anything wrong. South Korea is not in a lockdown, establishments are open. They exercised their rights as paying customers. They were hungry. They went out to eat. Nothing wrong with that.

2) Timing sucks. They went out to eat April 25, which was almost a month ago. Why bring this out now? Yes, there was a 2nd breakout of Covid19 but no one knew about it yet at the time.

It also took away the attention to the bigger scandal, which is the NTH Room. A website where underage girls are abused and filmed for everyone’s pleasure.

Fans think Dispatch is making a big deal out of it because Jungkook, Cha Eunwoo, Jaehyun, and Mingyu are celebrities.

BTS Park Jimin is known for his dancing, singing, and incredible stage presence. But he is not the first in mind when it comes to athleticism. The truth is that Park Jimin is a naturally gifted athlete. There are those who work for their skill, Park Jimin has it naturally.
Great athletes and trainers will tell you how hard work can make you a great athlete but you need to have a combination of natural raw talent and hard work to become a legendary one. Our Park Jimin was blessed to have the raw athleticism. Although, of course, he chose to become an artist and we love him for it. I am convinced, however, that if he chose to become an athlete, he would have been one of the legendary ones. BUT we are happy that he chose to do what he is doing now. He is obviously excelling and, more importantly, happy with his choice.
This is just meant to highlight his athleticism and how humble he is about it. Park Jimin prefers entertaining over competing. In fact, he would often sacrifice guaranteed victories in favor of more comedic moments. He has such a pure heart.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Jimin is yet to disclose his official rank in Kendo. Based on Kendo’s rules, you have to be at least 14 years old to become 1Shodan which is equivalent to a blackbelt 1st Dan. He never said exactly what age he started practicing Kendo but he did say he practiced it for 7-8 years. I am estimating that if he was at least 14 when he stopped, he would have been AT LEAST 1Shodan. That is just MY ESTIMATE, not confirmed information.

You all know about BTS, Mamamoo, OneOkRock, AKB48, TPop, CPop but we barely mention music from India, Malaysia, Pakistan, UAE, and other Asian countries. Aren’t you curious what ‘pop’ in India, Malaysia, Dubai, Vietname, and other Asian countries look and sound like?

I am not well immersed in these countries but I still find it interesting to get to know them because it gives us a perspective on how Asian music differs from country to country or how they are similar. More importantly, it gives us a glimpse on how culture, traditions, politics, and religious beliefs influence music trends.

India, for example, is open to Western influence but it doesn’t mean they adapt it to their culture and music the way Korea has. As a result, ‘pop’ in India is still very much grounded on traditional Indian music, with long sustained notes and rhythm that goes up and down fast.

However, they are slowly fusing traditional Indian sound with Western sound and it is developing a niche market, majority of which is the young. With more and more Indians traveling, studying abroad and making trade in Western market, they’re musical taste is evolving.

It is not doing so as fast as Korea has but they are slowly getting there. Watch the video and get to know some Indian pop bands and listen to their sound.
