Danielle, who was recently removed from NewJeans, directly addressed both fans and the ongoing legal dispute involving ADOR in her first public statement since her departure from the group.
During a livestream on social media on the 12th, Danielle spoke cautiously about the situation, saying, “I want to make one thing clear. Many situations are still being resolved, including the lawsuit.” She added, “I was still there. That warmth still lingers.”
Reflecting on her personal growth, she shared, “Over the years, I’ve learned a lot and had to protect many things. My perspective on my family and the world has changed a little.”

Danielle repeatedly emphasized her emotional bond with NewJeans and the group’s fandom, known as Bunnies. “I can say this clearly: NewJeans will always be in my heart,” she said. “Even though the members are in different positions, we remain one Bunnies with the same heart.”
Speaking through tears, she recalled her memories with fans. “When I think of Bunnies, the first thing that comes to mind is their eyes—the moments we met on stage,” Danielle said. “That feeling of our hearts continuing even after the music stopped.” She added, “Those memories quietly protect me.”
She also addressed her silence regarding recent events. “I haven’t spoken much about the past,” she said. “I found myself again under unfamiliar skies, and I’ve been carrying a story for Bunnyz in my heart. I haven’t shared it yet, but I believe I will someday.”
Looking ahead, Danielle reassured fans that she intends to stay connected. “Bunnies, this is not the end,” she said. “I want to share the days ahead—whether it’s music, silence, or small moments—truthfully and beautifully.” She concluded, “I want to slowly return the love that Bunnyz has given me, in a way I know how. I hope your days ahead will be soft, healthy, and filled with light. Thank you always.”
Last month, on the 29th, ADOR announced the termination of Danielle’s exclusive contract. At the time, the agency also revealed plans to pursue legal action, stating that it intended to hold Danielle’s family and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin legally accountable for what it described as causing the dispute, her departure from NewJeans, and delays related to her return.
ADOR subsequently filed a lawsuit against Danielle, one of her family members, and Min Hee-jin, seeking 40 billion won (approximately $30 million USD) in penalties and damages. Danielle has since appointed legal counsel and submitted a power of attorney to the court.
