EXO will return to group touring in 2026 with EXO PLANET #6 – “EXhOrizon,” marking their first full-scale tour in years following extended military service hiatuses and a period dominated by solo and sub-unit activity.

The tour opens with a three-day run at KSPO Dome in Seoul from April 10–12, 2026, before expanding across 13 regions in Asia. Confirmed stops include Ho Chi Minh City, Nagoya, Bangkok, Macau, Osaka, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila (July 4–5), Tokyo, Kaohsiung, and Singapore, where the tour concludes on July 26 at Singapore Indoor Stadium. The routing underscores EXO’s continued strength across Asian markets, where demand has remained resilient despite limited group activity in recent years.

The announcement, however, arrives against a complicated backdrop. Three EXO members remain in an ongoing legal dispute with SM Entertainment related to contract validity and settlement terms, a conflict that has yet to be fully resolved publicly. One of those members is widely regarded as the group’s strongest vocalist, adding uncertainty around participation, vocal distribution, and long-term group configuration as the tour approaches.

In addition, one member has returned to China, introducing another layer of unpredictability. The fluctuating political and regulatory relationship between South Korea and China has historically complicated cross-border entertainment activity, affecting promotions, scheduling, and in some cases, live appearances. While EXO has long maintained a strong fanbase in Greater China, the broader volatility between the two markets remains a structural risk factor for any regional touring strategy.

Despite these unresolved issues, EXO PLANET #6 is positioned as a full-group return to live stages, with expectations of a setlist combining legacy hits such as “Growl” and “Love Me Right” alongside newer material released during the group’s partial hiatus. Industry observers note that the tour’s scale and venue choices suggest confidence in demand, even as questions around lineup stability persist.

For EXO, “EXhOrizon” functions both as a long-awaited reunion with fans and as a stress test: measuring how legacy acts navigate touring amid legal disputes, cross-border uncertainty, and evolving group dynamics in today’s K-pop landscape.
