Los Angeles, April 23, 2026 — KATSEYE will take the stage at the 2026 American Music Awards, the organization announced on April 21.
The global girl group earned three nominations for the ceremony: New Artist of the Year, Best Music Video for “Gnarly,” and Breakthrough Pop Artist. The AMAs will air live from Las Vegas on Sunday, May 25, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
The performance news comes as KATSEYE continues its rapid rise on the Billboard charts. This week, the group’s latest single “PINKY UP” debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking their highest entry to date on the U.S. chart. On the Billboard Global 200, “PINKY UP” opened at No. 22 — also a new career best for the group.
For comparison, the group’s previous single “Gabriela” holds their highest peaks so far, reaching No. 21 on the Hot 100 in January and No. 16 on the Global 200 last September.
“PINKY UP” also debuted at No. 21 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart and No. 28 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. Meanwhile, KATSEYE climbed to No. 22 on the Billboard Artist 100, extending their total weeks on the chart to 46.
The upcoming AMAs performance represents a major milestone for the HYBE x Geffen Records group, positioning them among the night’s standout acts as they build momentum with their latest release.
