Do you want to see the HUNTR/X performing live?
Well, it just might happen. Netflix is going full K-pop fantasy mode.
According to Bloomberg, they are planning a real-world global tour for KPop Demon Hunters — their biggest movie ever.
The streaming giant is allegedly already talking to major concert promoters about bringing the film’s hit songs to actual stages next year, right before the sequel drops.
We’re talking arena shows in dozens of cities worldwide… 10,000 to 20,000 screaming fans per night, performing the soundtrack that’s been dominating Billboard charts and breaking records.
Imagine the girls from HUNTR/X — or whoever ends up on that stage — delivering those demon-slaying anthems live.
Netflix has already been offered tens of millions in upfront guarantees. That’s how hot this is.
Of course, nothing’s locked in yet. Creative details and costs could still kill the whole thing.
But if it happens, this could be one of the wildest crossovers between animation and live music we’ve ever seen.
Many are apprehensive because they don’t think the spectacle of the animated production can be created live. However, Disney has turned many animated movies into concerts and theater productions. The key is to adapt it to a live version, not to exactly copy the animated production.
